Is this bottle cap a twist top or a crown cork?
“Weird, this must not be a twist top.”
“It is a twist top.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m getting a bottle opener.”
“Well, what do you know? It was a twist-top!”
Too often is this conversation and more embarrassing ones of its lineage exchanged. There should be a simple method of discrimination!
It’s a hard design problem. The idea of alphabetic labeling was quickly discarded. What language? Which letters? But, how about Arabic? Maybe a set of standard colors? Which ones? Red for STOP, your hands will bleed! Green or blue for OK TORQUE? Lastly, will this marking be reliable when the drinker is intoxicated?
Lazyweb, I expect an answer by this afternoon.
