Giving up the lols!

I woke up late today. When I opened my laptop, I had about twenty or so IMs from friends saying, "your video is posted!" The day I promised has arrived. My stand-up comedy routine is up at American Eagle's Campus Comedy Challenge website. Head over there, watch all the comedians, and vote for the best!

A few people asked about my style and jokes. The explanation is a bit of a cop-out. I arrived with a five minute routine. However, I was told two minutes was the recommended length. One of the production staffers had a red light he would shine from the center of the audience at two minutes, and start flashing at three minutes. When I went on stage, I blacked out. Contrary to what the Daily Evergreen article fabricated, that was my first time up on stage giving a stand-up routine. The entire time I was desperately searching for my glowing red savior. When I finally did see it, it was flashing on the far right of the audience. So, I wrapped up as fast as I could and got off stage.

The production staff told me I went overtime and that they would need to edit my routine. The joke in the video was my last joke, and (I think) my strongest. I'm going to ask if I can get a full copy of my routine for posterity, and if so I'll host and post it.
